Stepwise heritage conservation

Stepwise heritage conservation is a Stepwise Heritage and Tourism service that plans and implements projects associated with the documentation, physical conservation and management of heritage sites.

Stepwise Heritage and Tourism has expertise in the management and conservation of both natural and cultural heritage. Our work is undertaken in accordance with the recognised standards of the Burra Charter and Australian Natural Heritage Charter.

A particular area of specialty is the conservation of rock art sites and visitor management at heritage sites.

Stepwise works closely with Environmental Systems Solutions and Cultural System Solutions in the development of heritage site management database systems.

Alongside other partners, members of the Stepwise Heritage and Tourism team have assisted in the following heritage conservation projects:
